48/365- The Road Home

road leading to a farm with silos

Roads go ever ever on,
Under cloud and under star.
Yet feet that wandering have gone
Turn at last to home afar.
Eyes that fire and sword have seen,
And horror in the halls of stone
Look at last on meadows green,
And trees and hills they long have known.

― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings

----------

This is lovingly dedicated to the beautiful family who lives at this local farm, the Troyer family.  One of the family members, Rashelle, used to live across the street from me until she married into this family and now she is a farmer's wife and the mother to a toddler son.

Have a fabulous Tuesday!
