Mother Nature

"Mother Nature is always speaking.
She speaks in a language understood within the peaceful mind of the sincere observer."
~Rodhanath Swami

Well, I was hoping this storm would be a bust...I had hope with all the rain and milder temperatures yesterday that it just wouldn't come to fruition.  Oh well...I guess you can never beat Mother Nature at her games, so you might as well join her.  I will be thankful for this day, build a nice roaring fire in my fireplace, curl up with my book, and enjoy this day.  I hope everyone else is able to stay in, warm and safe.

This piece was inspired by the recent weather, of course, and also an artist that I cam across the other day.  I happened to glance through his work for a brief time and then moved on.  Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to his name...so I can't give him credit here, but when I come across his work again, I will be sure to let everyone know.  This composition is comprised of 4 images and several texture layers as well as adjustment layers.  I wanted her entire face to be comprised of elements from nature.  I hope you enjoy this piece!
